Sylvie Lafond is the founding notary and principal partner of Lafond Notaires, admitted to the Chambre des notaires du Québec in 1988. Lafond holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Notarial Law Diploma from Université de Sherbrooke, along with a specialized graduate diploma in commercial law from Université de Montréal. With more than 35 years of practice, Lafond's work covers security law, corporate law, estate planning and real property law, with a particular focus on the division of property rights.
