About Sylvain

Sylvain Choinière, a native of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, studied psychology at the Université de Montréal before earning his law degree from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1990 and being admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1991. He also completed a master's in health law in 1999 and now practices exclusively in family law. He advises clients on the most cost-effective strategy for their file, seeks amicable settlements where possible while protecting clients' rights, and represents clients before the courts when a settlement cannot be reached. He has been an accredited family mediator since 1998.
