About Sophie-Anne

Sophie-Anne Décarie is a partner (avocate associée) at Décarie Stephenson Avocats, called to the Quebec Bar in 1999. Décarie holds a Bachelor of Laws from Université Laval (1998) and founded Décarie Avocats inc. in 2006 after eight years as a salaried lawyer in civil and commercial litigation; the firm later became Décarie Stephenson Avocats. Décarie's practice covers real estate litigation, construction law, hidden defects, commercial litigation, and civil and commercial mediation and arbitration, holding mediation accreditation since 2017 and arbitration accreditation since 2024. Décarie has mentored articling students and junior lawyers for about 15 years and serves as an administrator with the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce.
