About Solmaz
Solmaz Separy is the managing partner of Separy Law P.C. and has more than 15 years of experience as a family lawyer. She articled and practised as an associate at Blakes before founding her own firm, and now handles separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, and complex property division, with particular experience in high net worth separations and divorces and in drafting cohabitation, marriage and separation agreements. Solmaz favours negotiated resolutions where possible but advocates firmly in court when needed, and also has experience in civil litigation, debt collection, business law and drafting wills and powers of attorney. She has served on the board of the Family Lawyers Association and the Iranian Canadian Lawyers Association and volunteers with Pro Bono Students Canada. She holds an LL.M. from the University of Toronto and speaks Farsi fluently.
