About Sherry

Sherry Simons has practised law since 2014 and joined Witten LLP in May 2023 as a solicitor in the firm's wills and estates group, providing estate planning services tailored to each client's family and financial circumstances. She also assists personal representatives with efficient estate administration and has experience resolving beneficiary disputes, including particular experience assisting First Nation and Metis clients with estate planning. Sherry also helps clients with property purchases and sales, contract matters, and dispute resolution. She earned her JD from the University of Alberta in 2012 and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2014. She has written on estate planning topics for LawNow magazine and received a Women in Law Award for Estate Planning in 2020.
