About Chathula

Chathula Silva is the founder and principal lawyer of Chathula Law Professional Corporation, a Toronto law office handling immigration and refugee law, business and corporate law, tax law, real estate law, wills and estates, and powers of attorney and notary matters. Silva is dual-qualified to practise law in both Canada and Sri Lanka, and completed the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) exams in Ontario after moving to Canada. Silva earned a BSc in Business Administration (Special) from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura in Sri Lanka and completed legal education at Sri Lanka Law College. Silva also holds an Immigration Consultant Diploma with a Merit Pass from CDI College in Toronto and is fluent in English and Sinhalese.
