About Séna

Séna Houndjahoué Lahaye holds a bachelor's degree in international relations and international law from UQAM (2008), a master's degree in international law from UQAM (2013), and a bachelor of laws from UQAM (2017). She joined Gamboa Avocat as a legal intern in January 2019 and continued on as a lawyer that July. Before moving into law she spent many years working in international cooperation, giving her experience in intercultural settings, and access to the justice system was the subject of her master's thesis, for which she received distinction. In family law she regularly appears before the Superior Court on matters including child custody, support, school choice and filiation, and in immigration law she assists clients with sponsorship and visa applications.
