About Sébastien

Sébastien Demers founded Avgeco, a Quebec firm combining construction and commercial law with project and risk-management advisory work. Demers drafts, reviews, and negotiates construction and commercial contracts, including partnership, distribution, licensing, and supply agreements, and advises on tender and procurement documents. Demers also assists foreign, including American and European, companies doing business or running construction projects in Quebec and Canada. Demers serves as vice-president of the family businesses Isotex-Pro International Inc. and Isotex-Pro (1999) Inc., and earlier practised commercial litigation focused on construction, shareholder, and injunction matters. Demers holds a Diplôme d'études collégiales from Collège de Sainte-Foy (1993), an LL.B. from the Université de Sherbrooke (1996), and a graduate diploma in business law from the Institut de Droit des Affaires in Aix-en-Provence, France (1998). Demers was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1999 and is also an accredited arbitrator and mediator (UdeS/IMAQ) for commercial and construction disputes.
