Sebastien Anderson has more than 37 years of labour relations experience in unionized and non-unionized workplaces across the public and private sectors in BC and Alberta, including work with police officers, healthcare workers, and BC Nurses' Union members. He studied Industrial Relations at Athabasca University, attended the Labour College of Canada, and earned his law degree at the Faculty of Law, University of Alberta, and was called to the bar in both British Columbia and Alberta. He has appeared before appellate courts in both provinces, the BC Supreme Court, the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, and a range of labour relations boards and human rights tribunals. In 2013 he founded Labour Rights Law, one of the first virtual labour, employment, and human rights law offices in Canada, and the firm received the Canadian Bar Association's Innovative Workplace Award in 2017.
