About Scott
Scott Taylor was originally called to the bar in Ontario before beginning his BC legal career at Microtel Ltd. (a subsidiary of BC Tel) as Manager of Contracts, while studying for admission to the BC Bar; he was called in 1988. He later held positions as VP Contracts at Epic Data and at EBCO Industries before entering private practice as a sole practitioner in 1990. He authored a newspaper column called "Under Appeal" for over ten years and hosted a related cable television call-in program. Taylor Law Group provides legal services primarily in family law, including family law litigation, and in wills and estate matters including estate litigation, generally favouring settlement by negotiation, mediation or arbitration over court. He volunteers with the Big Brother Big Sister Foundation, the Langley Hospice Society and Foundation, and Access Pro Bono Society of BC.
