Scott Marshall studied law at the University of Victoria and was called to the bar in 1996. He worked in Hong Kong for several years before moving to California, where he practised as a litigator after passing the state bar exam there. In 2006 he took over what is now Marshall & Mahood in Kincardine from Graham Mahood and has practised there since. Outside of law, he performs with the Kincardine Theatre Guild, having played roles including Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls and Scrooge in A Christmas Carol.
