About Samuel

Samuel Cullen is an associate in the Employment and Labour, Commercial and Business Litigation, and Insurance practice groups at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP. His practice covers employment and labour law, immigration matters, and various commercial disputes, including estate and trust litigation, contract claims and negligence actions, and he assists clients from early strategy through hearings and trial. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and various administrative tribunals, and has handled matters through alternative dispute resolution. Before turning to litigation, Samuel ran a solicitor's practice preparing estate plans, handling probate matters and advising executors and trustees, having earlier worked in the Private Client Services group of a full-service Toronto firm; that background now informs his approach to estate-related disputes. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2023 and the British Columbia bar in 2025, and holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa along with graduate and undergraduate degrees in English from the University of Toronto.
