About Salma

Salma El-Khodari is the founder and principal lawyer at Swifts Law, practising family and immigration law with over a decade of experience spanning litigation management, litigation consulting, and private practice. She founded the firm to offer strategic, responsive legal counsel outside the constraints of a traditional law firm, and brings particular attention to cases where immigration and family issues intersect, a common situation for newcomer families. She earned her J.D. from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2012 and a Bachelor of Social Science in Sociology from Ryerson University in 2009, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014. She is fluent in English and Arabic and serves clients across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
