Sajan Oommen is a barrister, solicitor and notary public licensed by the Law Society of Ontario as of July 2022. Sajan was previously licensed to practise law in India by the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa in 1988, building a 35-year litigation practice spanning family, civil, and criminal courts. Sajan served as Senior Counsel for the Union of India before the Bombay High Court from 2014 to 2022 and as a Family Court-annexed mediator in Mumbai from 2010 to 2022. Sajan holds an LLB from Bombay University (1987) and a B.Com from Kerala University (1983), and is proficient in English, Marathi, Hindi, and Malayalam.
