About S.
Steven Sands is an associate at Donnell Law Group whose practice centers on family law for spouses, including child protection and child abduction cases. He also has experience in estate litigation and civil litigation, and has represented clients, including as a court-appointed children's lawyer, at every level of court across the GTA and Ontario, as well as at the Supreme Court of Canada. Steven teaches part time at Seneca College, currently instructing Alternative Dispute Resolution in the paralegal program, and has previously taught advocacy, legal writing, professional ethics, family law, and debtor-creditor law. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 1981 and a Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in 1984, and was called to the bar in 1986.
