Insurance LawRyan O'Fee is a Calgary litigator who has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and has also practised before provincial and supreme courts in British Columbia. He focuses on civil litigation, serious and catastrophic injury claims, insurance, and risk management, and has represented insurers on first and third party claims. Earlier in his career he worked at a major Alberta law firm representing national and multinational corporations, including construction and trades companies, on deficiency disputes and contractual and liability matters. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2007 and in Alberta in 2008, after earning an LLB from the University of Alberta in 2006 and a BA from the University of Calgary in 2003. O'Fee served as Chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Alberta Insurance Section, spent eight years on the CBA executive, and was formerly an instructor and evaluator for the Bar Admission Program (CPLED).
