About Rudolph
Rudolph P. Bratty, K.C., known as Rudy, founded Brattys LLP in 1957 after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he later received an honorary Doctor of Laws in 2017. His practice covered all facets of real estate law along with a range of corporate and commercial transactions. Born in Toronto to Italian immigrant parents who valued education, he built a philosophy around learning, understanding and finding resolutions that has guided the firm's lawyers ever since. Rudy went on to found the Remington Group, a real estate development company that has shaped residential communities, commercial properties and retail centres across the Greater Toronto Area. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1970 and has supported numerous hospitals, foundations and community institutions, and has served on corporate boards including Canada Trust and Petro-Canada.
