Trudel-Pigeon earned her law degree from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2009 and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2011. She began her career as a research assistant at the criminal and penal law firm Paquin & Caissie in Granby, then joined the Quebec Superior Court's research service in February 2011, assisting judges on major family and civil law files. In June 2012 she opened her own family law practice in Châteauguay, and in August 2014 she co-founded Drolet Pigeon Avocats inc. with Nancy Drolet; the firm became Drolet Pigeon Ste-Marie Avocats Médiateurs inc. when Renée Ste-Marie joined in August 2018. She focuses on family law litigation and became an accredited family mediator in 2019. She is part of a bank of lawyers specializing in domestic violence created by Juripop and has completed multiple training programs on handling separations involving domestic violence.
