About Ross

Ross Drysdale has over 50 years of experience in corporate, securities, and business law, with a particular focus on private and public companies across a range of industries. Before moving into private practice in 1985, he spent over eight years as legal counsel to two major Calgary oil and gas companies, followed by 20 years as a partner at McCarthy Tetrault LLP and three years as a partner at Baker McKenzie LLP in Calgary. For the past 15 years he has run his own Calgary practice. He has served as a director and officer of more than 34 public companies over his career, including West High Yield (W.H.Y.) Resources Ltd. and Rumbu Holdings Ltd., and advises entrepreneurial business clients on incorporation, shareholder agreements, financing, employment agreements, and purchase and sale agreements. Outside of law, he has coached ski racing and community basketball in the Calgary area for many years and volunteered at the 1988 Winter Olympics.
