About Rosa
Rosa Twyman is the founder and principal of Regulatory Law Chambers, a Calgary firm focused on energy regulatory law. She represents clients in the electricity, oil and gas, and water utility sectors in proceedings before the Alberta Utilities Commission, the Alberta Energy Regulator, the Canada Energy Regulator, and the courts, as well as in arbitrations and mediations. Twyman holds an LL.B. from the University of Pretoria (1996), a B.Comm from the University of Pretoria (1995), an EMBA from Queen's University (2018), and a Bachelor of Laws Equivalency from the University Coordinating Council in Calgary (1999). She was called to the bar in South Africa in 1997 and in Alberta in 2000, and was awarded the King's Counsel designation in 2022. She teaches Administrative Law at the University of Calgary for foreign-trained students and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Alberta.
