About Robert

Robert J. Lefebvre was a senior partner at Lefebvre & Lefebvre LLP in Brantford before retiring effective January 1, 2025. His practice covered real property law, including residential and commercial acquisitions, sales, title insurance, and mortgage matters, alongside business, corporate, and commercial law and wills, trusts, and estates work. He also handled related litigation and the tax and family law issues that often arise alongside these files, including Henson Trusts and ODSP planning for clients with disabilities. Robert earned his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa in 1977 after an undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto's St. Michael's College. He served as a Small Claims Court Deputy Judge starting in 1994, reappointed through several three-year terms, and held roles including secretary, vice president, and president of the Brant County Law Association. Following his retirement, his corporate, real estate, and estates files moved to Brantford's Stebbing Butcher PC.
