About Robert

Robert Geurts is a criminal defence and DUI lawyer in Toronto with more than three decades of experience, including twelve years as an Assistant Crown Attorney at the Ministry of the Attorney General. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1989 after earning an LL.B. from Queen's University and an LL.M. from Cornell University. Since moving into private practice in 2001, he has handled cases ranging from impaired driving to homicide and continues to teach criminal law as an instructor at Toronto Metropolitan University and the Law Society of Ontario.
