Business & Corporate LawRobert Brouillette founded Brouillette Légal. He graduated from Université Laval's law faculty in 1975 and holds an engineering degree from Université de Sherbrooke (1972). He is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and is registered as a patent and trademark agent in both Canada and the United States. He began his career at Ogilvy Renault in 1977 and co-founded the firm BCF in 1992 before establishing his current practice. His work focuses on intellectual property, including patents and trademarks, and on advising start-ups on financing and business law. He has acted as an angel investor and mentor to more than 60 start-ups, sits on several corporate boards, and has held leadership roles in intellectual property associations and the Anges Québec investor network.
