About Robert
Robert Sheppard earned his LLB from the University of Ottawa in 1976 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1979. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1993. He began practising with the law firm of McCann and Sheppard, which later became Sheppard and Gervais. His litigation practice has taken him before every level of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and he practises broadly across wills and estates, corporate and commercial matters, and real estate. He is a member of the Renfrew County Law Association, a past president of that association, and the founding president of the Kinsmen Court House for Men and Women, and he has been involved in numerous community initiatives and youth coaching.
