About Rob

Rob Houle is from Swan River First Nation (Treaty No. 8) and grew up in the Lesser Slave Lake region. Before law school he worked in municipal, provincial, and First Nations government roles, and during his JD at Thompson Rivers University he made the Dean's List, received the Acumen Law Award for constitutional law, and placed in the National Kawaskimhon Moot and the Sovereignty Symposium writing competition. He practises in administrative, family, Indigenous, corporate, and wills and estates law.
