About RJ
RJ Naval is a founding partner at RN Consulting and a licensed barrister and solicitor in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, as well as a notary public. He earned his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he received the Blake, Cassels & Graydon Award for placing in the top 20th percentile of his class and the Bereskin & Parr Award as top student in Patents Law, and competed in the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot. He also holds a BA (Honours) in History and Sociology from the University of Toronto, graduating with high distinction and membership in the Dean's Honour List. Before founding RN Consulting, RJ articled with the City of Mississauga's Legal Services Division, assisting with commercial real estate transactions and insurance defence matters, and worked at a boutique firm handling commercial litigation and residential real estate. His background lets him approach commercial transactions from both a private business and government perspective.
