About Ritesh

Ritesh Kotak is an associate with LeClair and Associates who assists employers managing the impact of rapidly emerging technology in the workplace, including cybersecurity, data security and privacy law, digital defamation, technology law, AI governance, and virtual reality-related litigation. While completing his law degree, Kotak took part in two hackathons, placing second in an international tech law competition addressing COVID-related airline refund claims and first in a Pan-Canadian competition to build a privacy breach reporting toolkit for small businesses. He has presented at the World Internet Conference, the Major City Chiefs/FBI National Executive Institute Conference, and a NATO-sponsored cybersecurity conference, is a member of the E-Crimes Council of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and Interpol's Metaverse Expert Group, and has appeared twice as a witness before Canada's House of Commons on technology issues.
