About Ram

Ram Shankar is the founding lawyer of Shankar Law Office, with offices in Owen Sound, Port Elgin, Wiarton, and Kincardine. He holds a Master of Laws from Dalhousie University and worked on international humanitarian and development issues for over 23 years before opening his practice. He focuses on family law, criminal law, litigation, wills and estates, and real estate, and is a Certified Collaborative Family Law Practitioner who favours mediation and out-of-court resolution. He serves as Regional Director of the Criminal Lawyers Association of Grey & Bruce and regularly appears before the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice, including in Walkerton, Owen Sound, Goderich, and Collingwood.
