About Peter

Peter Schmidt has a strong connection to Port Moody, where Schmidt lives and works, with primary areas of practice in family and estate law. Schmidt has also worked on high-profile criminal trials, served as a judge's clerk at the Supreme Court of British Columbia early in their career, and volunteered coaching law students through UBC's Law Students' Legal Advice Program. Schmidt received the 2008 President's Award from the Trial Lawyers Association of BC and was a Port Moody Police Board member from 2012 to 2016.
