About Peter
Peter Higgs was born and raised in Comox and has spent most of his life on Vancouver Island. He earned an economics and business degree from Dalhousie University in 2006, followed by his law degree from Dalhousie in 2010, and was called to the bar in 2011. His practice focuses on family law, civil litigation, and estate disputes, and he has run numerous trials in both Supreme and Provincial Court as well as administrative hearings. He serves as legal supervisor for the Campbell River Advocacy Centre and the Campbell River Family Law Advocate, and is the legal supervisor for the Access Pro Bono Clinic, which provides services to people with limited access to justice. He is also a member of the Campbell River Bar Association.
