Patrick Edgerton graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 2011. While in school he gained experience defending adults through Student Legal Services and defending youth charges at the Youth Criminal Defence Office. Since being called to the bar in 2012 he has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta and before administrative tribunals, successfully defending clients accused of a broad range of crimes including physical and sexual assault, drug trafficking, fraud, and automobile-related offences. He also has experience defending regulatory offences under statutes such as the Wildlife Act, the National Parks Act, and the Public Health Act.
