About Patrice

Patrice Brunet is the founder and managing partner of Patrice Brunet Avocats. He became a member of the Barreau du Québec in November 1992 and opened the firm in May 1993 on Rue Berri in Montreal; the firm has since relocated a few times and is now based in Outremont. For more than 30 years, Patrice Brunet has concentrated his practice on immigration and sports law, advising businesses on hiring foreign workers and individuals seeking temporary or permanent residence and Canadian citizenship. He has been an accredited arbitrator with the Court of Arbitration for Sport since 1995 and with Canada's Sport Dispute Resolution Centre since 2002, and is frequently asked to comment in the media on immigration and sports law issues.
