About Pamela

Pamela Large Moran founded PLM Law after practicing as a civil and commercial litigator in Toronto for ten years before returning to Atlantic Canada in the early 2000s. She practices personal injury and disability law, employment and labour law, human rights, and alternative dispute resolution, and settled one of Canada's largest personal injury claims in 2005. Pamela has worked on class action claims, including institutional abuse cases, and has served since 2011 as an adjudicator with the Indian Residential Schools Assessment Process. She holds a law degree from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University (1989), an LL.M. in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School, and Chartered Mediator and Chartered Arbitrator designations from the ADR Institute of Canada, along with a mediation certificate from Harvard Law School (2013). She is a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario), and won the ADR Institute of Canada's national Lionel J. McGowan Award of Excellence in Dispute Resolution in 2012.
