About Orlando

Orlando Santos has practised wills, estates and elder law in Ontario for more than 40 years, with a focus on powers of attorney, estate planning and probate. As a dual citizen of Canada and Portugal, he offers clients guidance on Portuguese inheritance law, Portuguese powers of attorney and cross-border estate issues, and is recognized by the Portuguese Consulate in Ontario. He is a Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths for Ontario and has been called to the bar since 1984. Orlando holds a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University, a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. A longtime member of the Brampton community since 1990, he practises from the heritage-designated McLaughlin House, which he owns.
