About Olivia

Olivia Joseph is a business lawyer practicing primarily in corporate and commercial law, wills and estates, and real estate. She provides legal counsel on business formation, business purchases and sales, commercial leasing, and commercial lending transactions for both lenders and borrowers, and works with clients on business succession and wealth preservation plans. She assists individuals and families with estate planning and administration, trusts, incapacity planning and post-mortem tax planning, advises clients acting as executors and administrators through applications for grants of probate and administration, and has experience with the committeeship process. Before joining Synergy, she practiced at a downtown Vancouver corporate/commercial, real estate, insurance and estate law firm and then at a boutique wills and estates firm. During law school at UBC's Allard School of Law, she volunteered for UBC's non-profit legal clinic. She was born and raised in North Vancouver.
