About Nicolas

Nicolas Lemyre-Cossette holds a Baccalauréat en droit from Université de Sherbrooke and also completed a Juris Doctor in Common Law there. He began his career as a criminal defence lawyer with the legal aid offices in Longueuil and then Granby before founding his own firm and later joining Poitras, Fournier, Cossette Avocats. He practises exclusively in criminal and penal law and has represented clients on criminal charges of all kinds before trial courts, appellate courts and the Supreme Court of Canada. He accepts private and legal aid mandates and practises in both French and English.
