About Nic
Nic Preston is the founding lawyer of Preston Legal in London, Ontario, and is dual qualified as a lawyer in Ontario, Canada, and cross-provincially in South Africa. Nic Preston previously worked as local Canadian counsel and, before that, as a Partner at one of Southern Africa's largest law firms, advising and litigating matters for government bodies, sporting associations, and employers of all sizes. Nic Preston's early career involved courtroom and tribunal advocacy, with some of the earliest matters attracting press coverage. Nic Preston is a Part Time Lecturer at Western University's Postgraduate Programme for HR Professionals and co-hosts a bi-monthly HR Masterclass in Southwestern Ontario. Nic Preston remains affiliated with the Labour Law body in South Africa (SASLAW), which provides pro bono representation to vulnerable workers.
