About Naseem

Naseem Mithoowani was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2008 and has practiced exclusively in immigration and refugee law since 2010. She has appeared before all levels of the Immigration Division and Refugee Protection Division and regularly argues judicial review applications before the Federal Court. In 2021 she was appointed by the federal government to the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal as a part-time adjudicator, and she also teaches immigration and refugee law as an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School.
