About Nadine
Nadine Côté is the founder of CSuite Law, providing employment law and executive compensation advice to employees, executives, companies, and boards of directors on matters including wrongful and constructive dismissals, harassment and discrimination, and executive compensation. She previously practised employment law and executive compensation at several Bay Street firms and organizations, including Davis LLP, Ernst & Young LLP, Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, Manulife Financial, and Torys LLP. Côté has negotiated and drafted severance agreements, executive contracts, change of control agreements, retention arrangements, and security-based compensation plans, and has worked on the labour and employment aspects of several major corporate transactions, including Bell Globemedia's acquisition of CHUM and BFI Canada's combination with IESI Corp. She is the author of Executive Compensation: A Director's Guide, a book on executive compensation in Canada. Côté earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University in 1992 and an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1997, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1999.
