About Mohammad

Mohammad Abdur Razzak joined the Ontario bar in 2014, after practicing law in Bangladesh since 1997 and teaching commercial and corporate law as an assistant professor at East West University. Drawing on 25 years of combined legal experience, he has facilitated thousands of real estate transactions, represented clients at various court levels, negotiated settlements in multi-million dollar disputes, and led numerous mortgage foreclosures. He completed his LL.B. and LL.M. at the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh and a further LL.M. in international commercial law at the University of Nottingham in the UK. After articling in Toronto in 2014, he founded Emerald Legal Professional Corporation in 2015, where his team practices real estate, civil and family litigation, mortgage enforcement, commercial law, and estate matters. He has written a number of academic pieces on contemporary legal topics, published in various legal journals.
