About Miranda
Miranda Dell'Anna is an associate lawyer at Mouck Workplace Law, advising both employers and employees on employment standards, human rights, occupational health and safety, and terminations. Before joining the firm, she worked as a litigator at a national law firm, advising First Nations governments and related organizations on workplace matters, and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, and the Human Rights Tribunal. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Master of Arts, both from Queen's University, specializing in political and legal thought, before completing her law degree at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in Thunder Bay. During law school she took part in mooting and student government, volunteered at an immigration clinic, and completed a practice placement with the federal Department of Justice interpreting legislation related to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
