About Michelle

Michelle Lavigne Vezeau grew up in Corbeil, near North Bay, and earned an Honours degree from Laurentian University before completing her law degree in the French Common Law program at the University of Ottawa. She clerked at the Federal Court of Canada and was called to the Ontario bar in 2008. She spent ten years with the federal government before joining Ramsay Law Office in New Liskeard in 2015, and in 2018 she opened her own practice as a mobile lawyer near North Bay. Her practice covers real estate, wills, powers of attorney, estate planning and administration, and uncontested family law matters, delivered in both English and French. She serves on the boards of the Alzheimer Society of Sudbury, Manitoulin, North Bay and Districts, the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation, and the North Bay Area and Community Foundation, and offers legal education sessions at the North Bay Public Library.
