About Michèle
Michèle Ross has been a designated paralegal since 2012, when Law Society of British Columbia rule changes allowed BC paralegals to take on additional duties under a lawyer's supervision. Michèle Ross's practice focuses on family law files, managing matters through litigation or collaborative processes and appearing at mediations in the capacity of a designated paralegal. In 2021 the British Columbia Supreme Court Civil and Family Rules Committee selected Michèle Ross as one of two paralegals to advise on rules affecting access to justice, and in 2024 the Ministry of Attorney General appointed Michèle Ross to the Regulated Paralegal Working Group. Michèle Ross also serves as a Commissioner for Taking Affidavits and holds the Certified Legal Coach designation.
