Criminal DefenceMichel LeBrun was sworn in as a lawyer in 1988 and joined the firm, then known as Lacoursière LeBrun, in 1996, developing a practice focused exclusively on criminal and penal law. He has argued before the Court of Québec, the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, including jury trials. He is a founding member of the Association Québécoise des Avocats et Avocates de la Défense (AQAAD) and served as its president from 2019 to 2022, and he was bâtonnier of Mauricie in 2003-2004. He regularly lectures on criminal law for the Canadian Bar Association, the Barreau du Québec, the Barreau de la Mauricie and AQAAD.
