Michael Unea is an associate at Leone Murray LLP who previously practised insurance defence litigation at a Toronto firm before moving into plaintiff personal injury work. He focuses on claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, long-term disability and life insurance benefits, and sexual assaults, and has represented clients at all levels of the Ontario court system, including trials and tribunal hearings. His prior experience defending insurers gives him insight into how claims are handled from the other side, which he applies to advocating for his clients.
