Michael James is a partner and co-founder of the firm who grew up in and around Edmonton. Before law school he worked at the Royal Tyrrell Museum and a local Drumheller newspaper, having studied paleontology and evolutionary biology at the University of Alberta. He completed his JD at the University of Alberta in 2019 and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2020. His practice is broad, covering real estate, wills and estates, corporate matters, municipal affairs, family disputes, civil claims, and criminal defence. He lives in Drumheller with his family.
