About Michael

Michael Noguera was admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2022 after earning his J.D. from Thompson Rivers University in 2021 and a B.A. from the University of Guelph-Humber in 2017. He practices restructuring and insolvency law, with experience in complex commercial insolvency, bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, and debt litigation, including proceedings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. His practice also covers fraud and Ponzi schemes, creditors' rights and recovery, and judgment enforcement. He previously worked at a boutique commercial law firm and served as a former federal prosecutor for the Vancouver and Surrey communities. During law school he competed in the Western Canada Trial Competition and received Dean's List recognition.
