About Michael

Michael Magonet has practiced exclusively as a civil and commercial litigator for over 30 years. He earned a B.A. with Great Distinction from McGill University in 1985 and graduated in the top ten of his class from McGill's Faculty of Law in 1989 with both a B.C.L. and an LL.B., receiving several scholarships and awards recognizing his work in civil and commercial law. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 1991 and the Ontario Bar in 1992, after working at Phillips & Vineberg (now Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg) and Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt, two of Canada's leading law firms. Magonet now leads Magonet Law Professional Corporation in Toronto, representing clients in civil and commercial litigation.
