About Meredith
Meredith Bateman founded Meredith Bateman Law in Riverview, New Brunswick, and has practiced law in the province since 1998. She graduated from Caledonia Regional High School before attending St. Thomas University in Fredericton, where she completed a double major in history and English with a minor in psychology. She went on to complete her law degree at the University of New Brunswick in 1997 and was admitted to the Law Society of New Brunswick in 1998. Her practice covers family law, real estate, wills and estates, and estate administration for clients across Greater Moncton. She has argued before the New Brunswick Court of Appeal on family and criminal matters, and previously worked on federal drug and income tax prosecutions as well as child protection matters for both the prosecution and defence. She is a former instructor at the New Brunswick Law Society's bar admission course, teaching family law and child protection, and is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Canadian Bar Association.
