About David

David Balzer is an associate lawyer at Meredith Bateman Law, practicing wills and estates, family law, and employment law from the Riverview office. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a writer, authoring two non-fiction books and a collection of short stories. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Arts from McGill University, and completed his law degree at the University of British Columbia, finishing as a visiting student at Windsor Law and graduating in the top 10% of his class. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2024 and the New Brunswick bar in 2025. He lives in Hillsborough, New Brunswick.
